I was born and raised in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Despite growing up on a small island, however, I never felt limited by my surroundings. I’ve always had big dreams. At an early age, I developed a love for learning. This love continued throughout my school years. I took academics seriously, and studied diligently. My efforts were rewarded when I applied to 14 colleges and received an offer of admission to each one. Today, I have a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University, where, surprisingly, my interest in fashion and modeling began. This fall, I begin my graduate studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science. I will be completing a Master’s in Environmental Policy and Regulation, an area of study that has become a source of both personal and professional inspiration. I am a pursuing a career in food and agriculture policy, and ultimately, I hope to influence positive change in the food policy arena.
